Perform at a journeyman level to construct, repair, restore, and install structural woodwork, masonry, glass and related materials using hand and power tools in accordance with blueprints, specs, established practices and pertinent state and local code. Responsible for estimating material costs and time required to complete project and to inspect work.

Perform Journeyman level skilled work in the installation, modification, assembly, maintenance, service, and repair of all types of residential and commercial hot water and steam boilers. Inspect equipment for proper operation, lubrication and cleaning, and follow a schedule of preventative maintenance to ensure facilities are in accordance with pertinent state and local codes. Perform a variety of maintenance welding tasks, rigging, plumbing and electrical trouble shooting.
